YouTube Sensation Mainly4ofUs
There are a lot of extracurricular activities that go on outside of school. We have a lot of creators and four of them have decided to run a YouTube channel. Seniors Michael Magnone, Shiwon Kim, Jakob Kunz, and Parker Chace own the channel Mainly4ofUs.
“We do comedy, .. just little skits and stuff for classes. Now we’re just trying to make short, funny, fun films to watch,” said Michael Magnone. Their videos range from 30 seconds to the 38-minute PREENCE: The Beginning.
“We started late 2015, early 2016. We wanted to make a channel just to goof off,” Senior Shiwon Kim said. They started the channel as a way to post their school projects. School has also helped them come up with video ideas, according to Chace. One of their earlier videos was made as a Romeo and Juliet presentation, but was far more entertaining than school projects usually are.
“Most of the comedy on our channel comes from vines or other YouTube videos, or just dumb things we make up,” Senior Jakob Kunz said. Their video titles include The South Pole Elf and The Human Stick, which is a good insight into what kind of videos they make.
“We’re working on a project that we’re calling L1A,” Senior Parker Chace said. That’s all he was allowed to say, but hopefully, it means we have an upcoming video to look forward to.
