Who are the Testostertones?

Talk about the new “Testostertones” has been circling around the school this year, but who are they and what do they do?

“The Testostertones is a group organized by Lucas Spaulding towards the beginning of the year, and we came together with 8 different students to just start singing and sharing music with each other. We started small with singing at choir concerts and any small opportunity we could take until we found some connections and have been able to perform in some other cool places,” member Junior Charlie Miller said.

This group was brought together by their one common love of music, and has evolved into much more than they expected. Each member is different in their own way and each has a different part of being a part in a cappella.

“[My favorite part is] just hanging out with people and I have always loved a cappella groups, so being part of one is so cool, and just hanging out learning barbershop songs. Those are so cool,” member Senior Tanner Dummar said.

Many cool opportunities and friendships have come up for this new a cappella group including an upcoming concert they have organized themselves.

“We have our final concert on May 20th. It’s going to be a big showcase with lots of songs and tickets are up at mhschoirs.ludus.com,” Seal said.
