The MHS Marching Band got invited to attend the Highland Invitational last Saturday.

“It’s a chance for all the bands in eastern Idaho to come together and perform their shows, and realize where we are and what we need to work on,” Drum Major Spencer Felt said.

While they were there, the marching band performed their marching show, Pandora’s Box, which is 7.5 minutes long.

“Pandora’s box is the story of Pandora and the evils of the world and how the evils were conquered through hope,” Felt said.

It’s great for bands to have these opportunities for some constructive criticism to help them perform better.

“Invitational is when a judge comes down and works with us on what we need to work on and a competition where you’re judged by judges and ranked,” Felt said.
