The invitation to the BYU-I "Neon" party.

Many MHS students will go to colleges around the nation. Some will stay here to go to BYU-I. There are specifics some students look for in a college that this school doesn’t like.

Many MHS students and college students were pumped up for a party on Saturday night. However, BYU-I administrators didn’t like that idea. They had gotten the Rexburg Police Department involved to shut down the party before it started.

There were many people who were confused as to why they shut it down. The party was being thrown by a group of young adults that were not connected to the school.

Some students say it was because the college is centered around the LDS church and parties are not acceptable. Some say it’s because the Administrators make money for the city because of the admissions from students, so the board decided they had a say in the matter.

Some others were commenting about a wind advisory that could have messed with some things at the party

For students looking for a party college should look into a different college that is a little bit more relaxed.
