State Championship Preview
The two best teams in Idaho faced off in a thriller where the Owyhee Storm beat the Madison Bobcats 85-66. Camdyn Allred had 14 points in the first half of the game.
“I was just confident in my shooting and my finishing and Berrett, Luke and Nash they made the right play and kicked it out when I was wide open,” Allred said.
Although it was a tough loss for the team there is still things to be happy about.
“I’d rather take a loss now and get a win in the state tournament,” senior Berrett Wilson said.
The Bobcats next game is against Blackfoot and then they play in the holiday tournament at Madison High School.
“We’ll work hard this next week and get to where we need to be and work harder and just kick butt in Blackfoot,” Allred said.
With the loss to Owyhee there is a lot to work on as a team.
“What I do know is that we’re going to have to pick up the energy and do a lot better,” Wilson said.
