Better Than Crumble Cookies

Brooke Parkinson, Bobcat Beat Staff

Everyone loves a good cookie, no not the flimsy, thin cookies that look like a pancake! I’m talking about a big, chocolatey cookie that fills your stomach.

Over the past three years, I’ve experimented with various types of cookie recipes and none of them have topped this recipe! I guarantee you that this recipe will make the best cookies.

3/4 cups salted butter (softened)

1 cup dark brown sugar (packed)

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs (large)

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups chocolate chips

For best outcome use, Kirkland chocolate chips and Kerrygold butter or Land Lakes. The better quality of ingredients produces the best cookies

Combine butter, sugar and brown sugar in a medium-size bowl. Blend with a mixer until smooth.

Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly with an electric mixer on medium speed.

Add baking soda and salt. Slowly add flour until thoroughly blended. Fold in chocolate chips with a spatula.
