Random acts of kindness during Quarantine

Everybody knows about covid-19. It is probably the only thing you talk about at home, see in the news, and think about during the day. It is hard to focus on anything else while the whole world is at a pause. But, many people are still finding ways to spread positivity and light even in these dark times. It has taken effect on some of our students and has brought joy into their lives while they are stuck at home. Senior Lauren Dickson shared an experience that happened to her this past week.

“Someone from my ward brought a senior sign for me that says ‘We are the class of 2020’ and now it’s out in my yard!” Lauren Dickson said.

Our community has done an amazing job honoring the class of 2020 in this unfortunate time. For example, the stadium lights on Friday April 10, 2020 at 8:20 (20:20) pm. We appreciate it so much!!

On the other hand, it is always nice to catch up with some of our juniors and MHS. Benson Gugelman is a junior and has also seen some acts of kindness.

“During this coronavirus outbreak since everyone has been stuck at home, our neighbors have been super kind and helpful. The other day they brought us treats and left them at our door.”

It is so nice to hear that even at times where we are required not to leave our house and see other people, there is still a way to show an act of service and kindness to others.
