The Madison boys basketball team is looking to put their win streak to five. On Saturday, they are taking on the 4-4 Skyline Grizzlies. It will be an away game.
After asking Madison forward Berrett Wilson how he feels about playing Skyline, he said, “It’s our game to lose, if we go out how we should, we won’t have a problem.”
He didn’t seem too worried about their chances.
Skyline is on a three game losing streak right now. Skyline’s best player, CarMyne Garcia is questionable to play this Saturday with a sore ankle. Madison is heading into the game with some momentum, having won five games in a row. Carter Lerwill was asked why someone would be interested in attending this game, he said, “We will show how good we can be offensively and defensively.”
He is confident in Madison’s chances against Skyline. Although this is not a district game, Madison hopes to stay hot throughout the season.
