The broken window on the bus Photographer: Chase Crane

Last weekend when the basketball team was on the road for a tournament in Utah a friendly match broke out on the bus between Chase Crane and Kauner Eysser resulting in a broken window. Damages will cost about $400.

“Out of nowhere he put me in a headlock so I shoved him off and then the next thing I know I get slammed against a window,” Junior Chase Crane said.

The team was shocked to see the giant crack in the middle of the window.

“All of the sudden we heard a huge pop and everyone started freaking out,” Junior Kauner Eysser said.

The damage was clear and they could not get away with it so they worked up the courage to talk to their coach.

“He just was kind of in disbelief and after everyone got off the bus he kept me and Kauner on and told us we gotta call our parents,” Junior Chase Crane said.

Chase Crane and Kauner Eysser will split the cost and each pay about $200. Crane found a unique way to pay for the damages on the bus and raised almost $100 already.

“I kind of jokingly put it on my story and a ton of people venmo’d me,” Junior Crane said.
