Last weekend, the Madison Bobcat basketball team traveled to Utah to play three games. Unfortunately, the team went 0-3 losing to Fremont, Corner Canyon, and Timpview. This week, the Bobcats try to fight back by playing Idaho Falls on Thursday and Blackfoot on Saturday.

Even though the team took some tough losses, the Bobcats don’t feel any pressure for the upcoming games.

“There’s no reason to feel pressure. We played three tough 6A teams, and we played good enough to win every game. We just had a couple bad quarters,” Junior Chase Crane said.

The bobcats have learned from their losses and are practicing even harder to win this week.

“We are planning on bouncing back by working our hardest in order to beat IF and Bonneville,” Junior Berrett Wilson said.

The team is going to focus on keeping their spirits up and ball movement this week.

“We just have to stay confident and play as a team. We play so well when we make the extra pass and make eachother better,” Junior Camdyn Allred said.

The cats are excited to play in their own gym against teams they know.

“Now we get to play Idaho teams who know we are better then. We just gotta bounce back and get a couple wins this week and show the school how good we really are,” Crane Said.
