With the trend of social media, student-run school accounts have always been there, usually to post embarrassing photos of each other. But what do the students think of them?

“I think it’s pretty funny, I feel like there’s a lot of people you don’t really see active on instagram and so I just think it’s kind of funny how

it’s non-discriminate.You’re asleep? You get put on it,” Senior Jacob Torres said.

For some of the students the accounts are a way to see others in a new light rather than the facade of posed instagram photos.

“I honestly don’t care. I think it’s all funny, some people might care a little bit cause sometimes it’s without their consent but I think it’s just funny,”Junior Hayden Sorensen said.

The majority of students believe these accounts to be more lighthearted rather than embarrassing or exposing.

“And in a weird way, everyone gets a laugh out of it and nobody finds this malicious at all. It’s a stupid way to say it but the school comes together a little bit just to have a laugh,” Torres said.
