Junior High and Middle school was prime time for most students. Valentine’s day then looked way different then it does now.

“Her name was Sofia. What happened was I liked her for a long time and I ended up going to the Dollar Store and getting a gift basket together,” Senior Ayden Ita said.

Asking someone to be your Valentine looks different for everyone, some give teddy bears and chocolate while others give notes.

“I’d write her notes and she’d write me notes back. Valentine’s Day was coming up and I was like, ‘Hey, do you want to be my Valentine?’ the she wrote back ‘Sure!’” Senior Lincoln Abrams said.

Wing men were also more common in Jr. High, Middle School, and Elementary school.

“I was standing outside the cafeteria and I couldn’t muster up the courage to go ask, so I had my friend go ask for me,” Ita said.
