This winter has been pretty slow In Rexburg but just an hour or so away at Grand Targhee Resort There was a huge snow storm.

“The ski season at Targhee has been pretty slow but we just got a huge storm and got 40 inches of snow in the last 7 days,” Junior Simon Brewer said.

The massive snowfall has quickly shifted the mood at the resort, turning a slow season into a promising stretch for all of the skiers and snowboarders.

“It has been super fun and we have been building massive jumps,” Brewer said.

After weeks of waiting, the new snow finally gave everybody something to be excited about.

“The snow is so nice and it’s so fun to just send whatever you want and not have to worry about getting hurt,” Junior Teigan Evarts said.
