My Time at the Ice Rink!

The Neutral Zone

The Neutral Zone ice rink is now open in Rexburg.

I have recently been to the Neutral Zone, the new Rexburg ice skating rink by Rexburg
Rapids, and I must say, it’s pretty impressive. The first time I went, I paid ten dollars for a whole
day of skating. However, the next time I went, I paid about twelve dollars. The first time that you
skate there, you have to fill out a waiver stating that if you injure yourself, they can call the
numbers and other information that you put down.

The ice in the rink is perfect for figure skating, and hockey, and the rink is also
huge. The first time I went, there was almost nobody on the ice, and so my friends and I got a lot
of space.

There is one downside. On the outside of the rink, there are big red supports (penguins or seals) that can help people who are new to skating. However, they are not included in the upfront cost. They are to be purchased separately, often for around five to seven dollars per session.

Also, it sometimes smells bad. There is a bit of a problem with the seating in the lobby area. When you enter the building, you walk into the lobby, where they have about six or seven or even eight metal benches where you can leave all your stuff on while you skate. There are no cubbies or lockers, so all of your stuff is out in the open. Even though the employees are right next to the benches, it would make me, and possibly a lot more people, feel more comfortable if we had some sort of privacy for our items.

On the other hand, they have great snacks. They have amazing hot chocolate, soda dispensers, and the service is great. They sell hamburgers, fries, hot dogs, candy, chips, sodas, and hot chocolate. The price depends on what size of the item you get.

The lobby is always the perfect temperature, and the ice rink is just cold enough to enjoy when you are wearing the correct weather gear.

In conclusion, I had a really great time at the rink, and overall, it’s great.
