Senior Alexis Packard is known for staying busy. Between cheerleading, school responsibilities, and club leadership, Packard has learned how to manage a packed schedule while still enjoying the things she loves.

When asked about how she balances so many commitments, Packard explained that staying organized is the key.

“I balance it by just being busy all the time and staying organized with my schedule. I put everything into my calendar and keep my priorities straight,” Packard said.

After a full cheer season, Packard reflected on what the experience taught her and how the team handled challenges throughout the year.

“I learned a lot this cheer season, mostly about enduring hard things and working with difficult situations but still pulling through in a way that is beneficial,” Packard said.

Despite the challenges, Packard said the team worked together and made the most of the season.

“I felt like we worked well with what we had. Everyone kind of came together and did their part and it paid off for the most part,” Packard said.

Outside of cheer and school activities, Packard enjoys spending time doing relaxing activities and being around the people she cares about.

“I like to spend time with friends and family. I love being outside and enjoying nature. I also like journal writing, organizing things, and watching Heartland,” Packard said.

Even with a busy schedule, Packard said cheerleading has been a positive experience in her life.

“It’s a fun time. I wouldn’t have my life any other way,” Packard said.
