Skiing Vs. Snowboarting

The big debate at this time of year is if skiing or snowboarding is the
better winter sport. Because there are two resorts within an hour of Rexburg many of our
students participate in a winter sport.
Junior Brayden Eysser is a snowboarder himself and he thinks powder feels a lot cooler on a
snowboard.
“The way it feels gliding through the powder is a lot better on a snowboard,” Eysser said
Junior Lincoln Ellsworth is a skier and he thinks that skiing is better because it was the first
winter sport.
“Skiing is way better because it was a thing before snowboarding and skiing just looks cooler,”
Ellsworth said.
This year there has not been much snowfall yet but many people are hoping for more.

“The snow up at Targhee has been pretty slim but I can’t wait for the next big storm,” Eysser
said.
