Senior Alex Jones isn’t shy about his passion for music — even if he’s a bit hesitant to list the instruments he plays. With experience on the drums, guitar, and bass, he’s explored different sounds and bands while carving out his own path in the local scene.
“I don’t like saying this ‘cause it’s, like, cocky, bro. I can kind of play the drums, and I can play a little bit of guitar, and sometimes the bass,” Jones said.
That variety has given him opportunities to perform in several groups, including ‘Pickup Line’, ‘Driving School’, and his favorite projects, ‘Pikkett Fence’, ‘Some People, Right?’
“I’d say probably Pikket Fence, ‘cause we played punk and punk is really fun to play on the drums,” Jones said. “And the probably Some People, Right?, ‘cause I get to play guitar and we play good songs.”
