There are many exciting elective classes at MHS. A popular favorite among the students is the Ceramics class. In this class, taught by Mr. James Lauritsen, students are taught to use their skills to create beautiful pottery.

“This is my favorite class. It’s good to get a break from all the real classes and I like art,” Senior Anna Marcum said.

As the end of the trimester approaches, the ceramic students have been hard at work finishing up their projects.

“We have been glazing over our projects that we have been working on recently,” Senior Summer Webb said.

Several students have really enjoyed this class. If you’re wondering what elective to do next trimester, try out ceramics.

“We have lots of fun,” Webb said.
