6 dances are held every school year with some either  boys and girl choices, formal and informal.A few students think there are a ton of school dances, and want a few changes to the dances.

Junior James Mckay feels like girls should get a chance to ask someone to a formal dance.

“I think they should switch winter formal to girls asking and an informal dance for a guy to ask, to balance things better,” Mckay said. “I feel like girls care more about dances and if they get to ask they don’t have to feel bad for not getting asked,” Mckay said.

Senior Kyleigh Evertsen thinks we should change some things about the dances including themes.

“I feel like there should be more casual themed dances like decade dances like 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, etc,” Evertsen said.

Junior Mandy Cook feels that the informal dances aren’t as fun as formal ones.

“I definitely don’t go to all of them because I’m kinda over the ones that aren’t formal for me, I only like the formal ones,” Cook said.

Junior Hannah Coleman feels like we should get rid of some dances.

“I think the dances are ok on how they are but probably get rid of 1 or 2,” Coleman said.
