To those who don’t know, FCCLA stands for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America and they recently had a conference where FCCLA groups from all over Idaho met up.

“The fall conference was about learning how to team build and work together because there are events in FCCLA that you can compete in that use teamwork so it was a good practice skill and an intro to FCCLA,” Senior Janet Ojeda said.

FCCLA is a great opportunity for students to learn life skills that they can use in almost any job field.

“It was a bonding experience and learning more about the club and what we do,” Junior Diego Renova said.

FCCLA has a lot of great real-life opportunities to be a part of a team, while learning important skills.

“Definitely join because it’s a lot of fun and it’s a good leadership opportunity and is also good on college resumes,” Ojeda said.
