What MHS Students Can Do This Winter Season
Turns out, students have more ideas than the city government, at least for winter activities. The city has only one page, but students at MHS are doing much more than one page’s worth.
Some students shared their plans for the winter with Bobcat Beat.
“I like going on rides in my Jeep and snowboarding,” Junior Ki Walters said.
“We usually visit family, especially around the holidays, and we like decorating our house,” Junior Logan Nagata said.
Finding activities that you can enjoy, is bound to bring probably much needed joy into your life.
“It’s fun because it allows me, my siblings, and my family just to have fun and to grow family memories and bonds,” Nagata said.
In case you’re stuck on what to do this winter season, here are a few ideas.
Ice fishing
Ice skating
Snowmobiling
Snow sculpture contests
Shovel sidewalks
Start a snow shoveling business
Cross country skiing
Hockey
Cut down your own Christmas Tree
While Covid might try and stop you from doing anything fun, there are many things that you can do at home as well.
“I think that even though it’s been a rough start this year, I think it’s going to turn out great,” Nagata said.
