Veterans Day Assembly
Every year, our country comes together to celebrate Veteran’s Day. MHS held an assembly in honor of those who have served and fought for our freedom. The students and members of our community joined together to give thanks and show appreciation for veterans.
“I really liked all the appreciation they showed for the veterans individually,” Sophomore Jaicee Thueson said.
The MHS band played music for all the military branches while people in the audience stood for their loved ones that have served in each branch. The room was filled with appreciation and gratitude for all who have fought for our country.
“I like how we get to honor the veterans, especially our family members, it’s pretty cool!” Junior Will Carter said.
The assembly was a great way to bring us all together and give thanks to those who have done so much for us and our country.
“It means that we get to show our love for our country and we get to show respect to people that have served. We get to celebrate our freedom, but mostly just show all the respect we have for the people who have served,” Sophomore Tel Bair said.
