Black Light Dance Party
Redo Homecoming takes a turn for the better with including other schools to come and add to the party.
The brains and money behind this operation is senior Mark Williams. The idea was spurred from the major flop of the homecoming dance. According to Williams that idea is in the past. “ At first it started in that direction, just a redo homecoming dance, just keep it small and in the school. But now im thinking of having it just be a party ya know bring in lots of schools in the area, just good memories, when I think back on high school I just want to have good memories and remember how fun it was. I want to get people out there.”
The whole operation has cost Wiliams just under 3,000 dollars. That includes the venu, Dj, fliers, and permits. It’s going to be held at the old Jr High, costing 10 dollars to come, running from 9-12 at night on October 19th. The DJ for this event is Taxx from Beast Events. Hopefully It will sound better than the Homecoming DJ.
“I’m not worried about the DJ, but I am a little worried about the turn out from the other schools.”
This party is not trying to show how bad the homecoming dance is anymore. It is something that any high schooler can come and party with new and old friends. Mark
