In Between the Lines

The new parking lots at Madison Senior High School this year seems to be making students a lot happier. The construction last year was making things more complicated than it should have been. With the construction, came parking problems. One of the parking lots was closed and another was under construction. We even had students parked along the street.

“Last year it was pretty terrible because there was no parking spaces, the only bright side is that you could park next to the trees,” said junior Ozzy Labra.

Although the parking wasn’t very good last year, we have a better situation this year. With two new parking lots in the back, parking is not as limited. 

“It’s way better because if you have shop class you just park by the building to shop class, or if you just have class in the front you just park in the front, and there’s parking next to the stadium if you have classes near the back of the school. So there’s typically parking space wherever you go,” said Labra.

With parking everywhere you need, it shouldn’t be a big trouble getting where you need to be. If you are having trouble finding a good spot to park, maybe try a different parking lot.

“It’s way better, the stadium looks great, parking lots are great, they repaved everything, there’s visible lines, it’s pretty good,” said Labra.
