Bradee Klassen, MHS Assistant Principal.

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to go from teaching economics and coaching football to being an assistant principal?  Mr. Klassen was willing to give us his insight on what this transition is like.

“I’m able to see all kids, programs, and groups versus when I was teaching it was just economics and football,” Klassen said.

As an assistant principal, you have quite a bit of responsibility which requires late nights a lot of the time.

“It’s a busy job, there’s a lot to do. There are weeks where I’m gone every night and weeks where it’s only once or twice but it’s worth it,” said Klassen.

Being an assistant principal here at Madison, however, comes with a lot of support from the community in everything we do.

“We try really hard to make it feel like a family and a little community. I never want students to feel like it’s them versus admin,” said Klassen.
