You hear about how hard the basketball, volleyball, and football players work and how much time they put into their sport but you never hear about their biggest supporters; the cheerleaders.

“The morning of game days, we have an early practice for about 2 hours and we’ll wear stuff to school to support them. Then after school we get ready and meet at the high school at 5:30 for the JV games,” Sophomore Aislynn Klingler said.

Some people see the cheerleaders and they think being a cheerleader is easy. The cheerleaders think otherwise.

“I think the hardest part is the commitment. Like getting up so early in the morning for practice and making it to all the game,” Senior Jaden Mortensen said.

When it comes to sports, there are always challenges or difficulties, but it can also be a good time.

“I think the easiest part is just being able to be with your friends all the time and spending everyday with them, it makes long practices a lot easier,” Junior Jessie Parker said.
