Every year the Madison Fine Arts department invites an artist to come to MHS and perform with the band, orchestra, and choir.

“I enjoy being a part of this concert and playing songs that we don’t usually do. It’s a neat experience,” Senior Roxy McCombs said.

This year they’ll present Kurt Bestor at 7:00 p.m, Dec. 20 at the Madison Performing Arts Center. But before all of this goes down, a lot of preparation and hours of rehearsal goes into this show.

“We are all working hard to get the songs down and being able to play them correctly when Kurt Bestor comes for rehearsal,” Senior Sarah Hansen said.

The Fine Arts Department are still working on a title for the program and figuring out who is going to conduct, but they can assure you that this will be a great Christmas concert.

“We have great students who are very talented and Kurt Bestor is great. It’ll be a fun night and a great experience for the kids,” Mr. Doug Hansen said.

This is a great time for the students to come support your classmates. The tickets are $10 and the money will go towards the Fine Arts Department.
