Batter Up
MHS Baseball Team starts out the season hungry for a W.
Madisons baseball team has finally started their season after a long winter. The baseball team has all new coaching staff and are more energetic than ever. This team is good enough to go to the state tournament.
“Bonneville is going to be our hardest competitor, they had a ton of juniors last year that are seniors now and are going to be a very difficult team to handle,” Junior Carter Boice said.
This years new coaching staff is great and one of them actually played college baseball, so they know what they’re doing.
“They have been teaching us great technique and not only that but proper technique as well”, Junior Jordan Porter said.
Even though they are doing well, they have a few things to clean up.
“Our biggest weakness as a team and for me would probably be batting,” Sophomore Hayden Waddoups said.
The whole team is hungry and ready to dominate anyone in their way and most importantly make it to state.
“Defense is our strong point, and we need to get better all around as a team,” Porter said.
