MHS Students Make The Most of Lunch

MHS students are mixing it up and making the most of lunch time.

“Instead of going out to eat I eat a home lunch because I have film for football. Film is great and I learn a lot and going gives me a higher chance of playing,” Junior Ryan Erikson said.

Having open open campus lunch is one of the things students really enjoy having. Being able to leave the school during lunch gives them freedom to decide where or what they want to eat.

“I go out to eat with my friends a lot. I usually like to go with a big group of friends to Little Caesars because it feeds a lot of us for cheap,” Senior Kenzie Parker said.

Students who choose to stay at the school still end up having fun. They pass the time by doing things they enjoy at the school.

“I usually sit in the cafeteria with my friends and eat my lunch. After we’re done eating we just walk around and find people to talk to. Sometimes I go into the ensemble room and me and my friends make up songs and sing,” Junior Ellie Smith said.

Lunch gives the students a time to relax and forget about the stress of school.

“I like lunch because it’s a break from the day and I get to hang out with my friends,” Parker said.
