Davi Galvao plays soccer for Madison High School .

Davi is a super sweet guy that comes from Manaus, Brazil. He ventured here to the U.S. because his father wanted to get a major in software engineering, Davi said, “Moving here has changed my life for the good.” Davi started doing soccer at the age of 7 after he watched the 2014 world cup. He said,” As soon as I started playing soccer I was immediately super good and it all came naturally to me.” When he was asked the question of what he likes best about soccer, he said, “Kicking the ball.” What a great take from Davi. He has also won back to back wins in the Yellowstone Cup in 2022 and 2023. When asked the difference between American soccer and Brazilian soccer he said, “Americans suck at soccer. In Brazil it’s like a religion, you either do it or you don’t, but pretty much everyone does soccer and practices a lot.” Davi is a very confident individual, he gets this confidence from a single quote that has changed his perspective on life. ”When life gives you lemons, you add something with higher protein.” With this quote he hopes to pursue his dream of playing soccer in college. We wish the best for our friend Davi.
