They actually want us. Literally. South Fremont has invited MHS students to join their student section this Saturday, January 28 at 7 to their game against their rivals Sugar Salem. The theme is Madison so come decked out in all the gear you got.

“The family of the student body at South thought of it, because of Sugar being Madison rejects,” Senior and student body president Hyrum Allen said, “They thought it would be cool to have us show up too.”

Say Bye to your fellow transferred friends because on Saturday, we’re fighting.

“They want to use our cheers and everything,” Allen said, “To make it more Madison.”

Sugar Salem decided to fight back and bring MHS’s rivals Rigby.

“Once we saw South invited Madison it was only right to fight back,” Senior and student body president at Sugar Salem Hallie Leavitt said, “Word spreads fast and multiple Rigby people reached out to us as well as many of our students reaching out to them.”

Everyone better show up to support South and to join the fight against Rigby and Sugar.

“Makes for a good rivalry plus a good opportunity to bring all 4 of these schools together,” Hallie Leavitt said.
