Many students at Madison High School have wondered what’s happening underneath the tent at the baseball fields. For those who haven’t seen it, there is a big tent covering parts of the baseball diamond, and it has been up since about December. Bobcat Beat took it upon themselves to find out what was going on.

“It’s 3 elephants learning how to dance, and Mr. Klassen doing trapeze. I will be riding the unicycle. A huge circus event! Wriggling brothers circus!” Vice Principal Jordan Busby said.

Bobcat Beat couldn’t be fooled by Mr. Busby’s great wit and pressed a little further to find out what was truly arising from underneath the tent.

The tent at the baseball field

“We are building an announcers booth, a concessions booth and bathrooms. The first 10-12 feet of it is masonry. They have to tent that, so it’s warm, and they can make all the mud. That part will be done on Friday,” Mr. Busby said.

Administration has great hope for this project, and no doubt it will be a success. They are very excited for it to be finished.

“It will hopefully be finished by spring season,” Principal Brady Klassen said.

Stay tuned for more information on Madison High School’s Baseball Diamonds, there is more to come.

“Each field will have a scoreboard. Those have been donated, and we’ll announce who donated those at the proper time,” Mr. Busby said.
