MHS is hosting choir festival for surrounding schools

Many students at MHS noticed extra busses and extra students at our school today due to a choir festival. Student choirs performed and were critiqued by a panel of judges.
“We were all kind of excited cause it’s the one time where you get an unbiased opinion to come and listen to the choir,” Junior Baylie Kivett said.
The choirs are ranked on their skills. Students from other schools also find it exciting to compete in the festival.
“It’s a little bit like a competition, it’s to show our rank compared to other choirs. I always enjoy it,” Junior Devyn Gratton from Rigby High School said.
The MHS choir looks forward to this event every year. They don’t compete often so it’s nice to see how they are doing compared to other schools.
