The Madison sports teams have dove done amazing this fall.  We have had many wins, as well as losses, but are coming out number one in most sports.  So far the Girls Soccer team has set the stage for all other sports, having already won the District Championships!

Senior Caitlin Brizzee told us the team is very close which helps them reach their goals together.

“We have won every conference game. We won both of our district games which means we are off to the state as district champions!  Our team is very united, there is no drama, and we all get along which helps us on and off the field,” Brizzee said.

Boys Soccer began with a rough season, but have been able to prove how well they work as a team in recent games Junior Jose Perez told us.

“We are more of a team this year than last year, and the year before.  I think we will go far,” Perez said.

Volleyball girls have had a great season as well.  Senior Alissa Wilson said this summer the Volleyball girls went to the University of Utah camp and won the tournament, which allowed them to play in the Huntsman center on the university’s campus.

“As a team we have played well. We have played a lot of good games against other good teams, in tournaments especially.  For the school season right now, we are heading to districts in second place which is a really good situation to be in,”  Wilson said.

As the Cross Country season races to a stop the team continues to get new personal and team records. Junior Rachel Morrin told us.

“Our team has done really well this year, since we’ve ran in bigger races. We got a lot more trophies last year, but since we are running in bigger races this year it shows that we have gotten better,” Morrin said.
