What did yo do during harvest break?

While some students used Harvest Break to travel and explore new places, others spent their free
time relaxing and catching up with people around them.
Sophomore Adelaide Jenson spent her break on a five-day cruise to Mexico with her family. For
Jenson, one of the best parts of the trip was the food.
“There was like a lot of food, and you could just eat it
whenever you wanted. My favorite was definitely the
pizza and the burgers,” Jenson said.
Jensen described the cruise as a really, really fancy
hotel, but on water. The cruise also stopped at Catalina
Island, where she went shopping before continuing to
Mexico.
One of the first things Jensen noticed once on the cruise
ship was her room, especially the interesting beds.
“The beds were so cool; they were attached to the wall, kind of like they were floating,” Jenson
said. “I thought it was going to be more like a hotel room.”
While Jenson spent her time traveling, another student, Mailynne Lopez, chose to slow down and
spend time with the people close to her.
“I took some time to myself over the break to reset,” Lopez said
Lopez spent time with her boyfriend Seth, her friend Austin, and her family. Her favorite part of
the break was watching Endgame in theaters.
“Watching Endgame is something I won’t ever forget; it was really good,” Lopez said
Once asked to describe her Harvest break in three words, Lopez chose wonderful, fun, and
chill.
“I really wish Harvest break was longer,” Lopez said.
