The fastest sprinters on the MHS track team, Seniors Kayden Wadsworth and Kache Abbegelan, train year round in the field house or on the track to insure their spot to state. They are
THE fastest on the team.
“My 100m time is Uh, 10.86” Wadsworth said.
Abbegelan’s time was 10.81. They reach these top speeds with their awesome shoes.
“I own the Boarddogs Crimson Max Fly 2s and they’re very nice, very nice,” Wadsworth said.
Abbegelan wears a different type of shoe.
“I have the Nike Max flys 2,” Abbegelan said.
They usually train every day lifting quick and fast and running their best.
The track season is coming up and the team has an early pre-season this year in November.
“I am so excited. I cannot wait to go to track meets and have fun at track,” Abbegelan said.
They both compete in the 100m, 200m, and 400m.
“My time in the 200m is 22.55 and in the 400m its 51.73,” Wadsworth said.
Even though they compete in the same events, they still push each other to be better every time they run.
“My time in the 200m is 21.74 and my 400m time is 48.75”
