All Eyes on State, Madison Cheer Prepares for the Big Stage

Cheer state is coming up quickly, are you wondering what’s going through a cheerleader’s brain? Junior Adelyn Earle, a cheerleader at our school, talks about her experience in cheer and how they have prepared for state this year.
“Me and my team are preparing for state by coming to each and every practice and putting our best effort in to be able to compete how we want to at state. I’m most excited to make such special memories with my team and to show everyone what we’ve been working towards this
entire season!!” Earle said.
Bonding and making memories in routines makes cheer so much more fun allowing the cheer team to perform their best, and bring what they’ve been working for this whole year on the mat with the best performance they’ve competed all season.
“I recover by keeping a positive outlook and not letting it affect the rest of the routines that I have to go out and compete.” Earle said.
Recovery is a huge part of cheer and having a positive attitude and keeping the energy up is important, allowing there to be lots of work to be put in this year with the new environment that they were put in.
“This season has taught me to never give up through trials and keep pushing, the reward is always worth it!” Earle said.
