Clash Royale has made a big comeback among students this year. With constant updates, evolving decks, and lots of content creators reviving the hype, many players at school say the game is more fun than ever.
“I’ve been playing Clash Royale for three years and I think it’s really fun,” said senior Max Sloop, who has reached an impressive 12,000 trophies. “I feel like a lot more YouTubers are playing it, so people are just getting back into it.”
Players agree that part of what makes the game so good is its variety. With over a hundred cards and countless deck combinations, every match feels different.
“I think a lot of people just play it really differently,” said junior Noah Huntsman. “It’s just the idea of so many different cards and different strategies that people enjoy.”
Some players go all-in on spending money building the perfect deck, while others enjoy sticking to free play.
Junior Austin Hansen, who has never spent any money on the game, says his motivation is simple.
“It’s the GOATedest game ever, and I’m the GOAT, and it’s GOATed.”
Whether climbing the trophy ladder, experimenting with new decks, or just enjoying quick matches between classes, Clash Royale’s mix of skill, creativity, and competition keeps students hooked.
As Sloop put it best, “It’s full skill cycle, bro.”
