Marching band’s first step-offs

On September 27th, the marching band had their very first competition. It was held at the Madison high school stadium. The band was led by their drum majors Abigail Moore, Britton Isle, Josh Williams, and Joseph Head. They were excited to announce this year’s show DreamZzz.

“Oh, I am so pumped with this competition.” Moore said. “ I’m actually not as nervous as I thought I would be. 
I’ll be completely honest.”

The band has been working very hard on their show this year, but some things could use work.

 “I’m kind of nervous about staying together and on time, but honestly, we’ve been doing pretty good this year, so I think we can pull through if we just keep practicing.” Moore said.

The rest of the band was excited to perform at their competition. 

“I think we’re gonna do a good job. It’s not the best that we can do, but it’s still gonna be good.” sophomore Savannah Gunderson said.
