Grad night the last hoorah
Seniors making the most of their last year in high school
Graduation is approaching, and so is Grad Night. Seniors get together and celebrate their graduation the night right after they get their diploma. The planning began months ago to ensure a fun night for these upcoming graduates.
Thursday May 22nd is graduation. Later that night everyone will gather at the Junior high and party it up as their final high school memory.
“The most exciting thing about Grad night for me would have to be being with my best friends,” Senior Ian Fellows said.
There will be many various activities such as Inflatables, Bean Bag Toss, Karaoke, Mario Kart, a Zen Den, Mini golf, Game Shows, Pizza, and even Mocktails… the list goes on. Many seniors would say the prizes at grad night are the most intriguing aspect.
“There are so many good prizes- a Nintendo switch, a big screen TV, free housing contract for BYUI, Airpods, gift baskets and more,” Grad night planner Megan Anderson said.
Lots of planning and time went into creating this exciting event.
“Truly, the hardest part has been getting the students to buy their tickets. We have sold 100 and need to sell at least 150 more. It’s not too late, get your tickets for the party of your life,” Anderson said
After grad night ends, students will walk away with a high school diploma and lots of great memories.
“I am most excited to graduate because I am ready to move on with life,” Senior Jacob Dye said.
