Madison Boys Basketball Faces i….n District Championship Showdown

The Madison Bobcats look to continue their undefeated streak in their District, by winning the District championship. The Madison Boys Basketball team is set to face off against either Thunder Ridge or Highland in the District Championship game, with also a state tournament spot on the line. The game will take place on Tuesday 25th, February 23rd, at 7:00 p.m. at the Madison High School gym. This is a matchup that is highly anticipated at Madison. Madison is coming off winning it last year hoping to repeat what they did last year.

After the game against Canyon Ridge on February 18th, Nash Humphreys said, “Job’s not finished yet.”

Madison was expected to play against the Rigby in this District Championship game, but they faced an unexpected loss against Highland. Even shocking all the Madison fans, who
were watching the end of that game right after the conclusion of their game. The winner of this game will get about 10 days before their next game (This game being the state tournament).

When asked about the upcoming game Humphreys said, “It’s going to be an exciting game, I’m just hoping we can get a lot of fans out there.” This should be a great game for the Bobcats that they will win yet another District championship.
