Bobcats and Titans Clash in District Tourney at Madison
The Madison Bobcats varsity girls’ basketball team will face off against the Thunder ridge Titans at Madison High School on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Both teams are looking to win the district championship. Thunder Ridge beat Highland in their opening game of the tournament on Tuesday. Madison earned a bye in on Tuesday at the No.2 seed.
Currently, the Bobcats’ record is 14-7 in the regular conference season, while the Titans are 12-9
this season. The last time the Bobcats met the Titans, it resulted in a 50-30 win for the Bobcats on January
16th.
Torey Parker, a forward for the Bobcats, thinks the game will go well.
“It could go either way, but I am fully confident in my teammates and confident that we can win if we give it our all.”
With districts here, this game is very important for the championship. A win for the Bobcats would help push them higher toward the top spot, while the Titans are hoping to defend their spot at second in the conference.
This will be a very fun and intense game to watch. Madison High School, 7 p.m. — be there.
