Area 51 Raid
The internet went crazy over a rumored Area 51 raid that popped up a few months go.
For years, conspiracy has surrounded Area 51, the government training base. The conspiracies are due to claimed UFO sightings and other oddities. A few months ago the internet was flooded with posts about organizing an attack against the base. The original post had the date set for Saturday, September 20th.
“Let’s see them aliens,” Junior Daniel Godfrey said.
Due to the base’s location, 23 miles from the closest public road, an actual raid is not very likely. But, a party was organized in a nearby town to celebrate the occasion. Madison High School Junior Bailey Thayne plans on attending since she has acquired tickets from a family friend.
“I just go along with the memes, if I could get an alien that would be pretty cool,” Thayne said.
During this party, Bailey hopes to hear a lot of good music and meet new people from all around the states.
“I really hope there is food there… hopefully hamburgers,” Thayne said.
