Our varsity basketball team here at Madison gets so much support, so why not support the few rec ball teams?
“We made our rec ball team because we all like to play basketball, but none of us wanted to actually try out for the team, and we probably wouldn’t have made it anyways. We also wanted to still be able to snowboard,” Junior Chase Webb said.
The thing about rec ball is you get to choose your team and play with your friends.
“I like playing with my buddies and us coming together as a team and beating these fools who think they can beat us. I also like bodying those punk kids that think they can guard me. Go Red Go!” Junior Dallen Gonzalez said.
Some kids take the games as a joke and just like to mess around.
“I just shoot half-court shots with my head. I think I have like 14 baskets made. We are 1-3 and the team we beat was a girls team,” Junior Dawson Jensen said.
