Madison’s Got Talent
Ladies and gentlemen, the moment has finally arrived, the Madison High School Talent Show of 2019! This production spotlights the talents of some of our students here at Madison. Featuring talents ranging from comedy to singing, the talent show is sure to be a great experience for everyone on the stage and in the audience.
“We auditioned just to send it, mostly,” Junior Tanner Averill, who is singing a duet with Andrew Williams, said. “On a choir trip I showed Andrew this song and we both started singing it and it sounded really cool. So we both learned the song and started singing it together, so then we just thought, hey, why not be in the talent show?”
While it might not be the biggest production the drama council puts on, it’s definitely one of the most entertaining.
“It’s just something fun to do,” Senior Eliza Hibbard said. “I’m not sure for how long we’ve been doing it, but we did it last year but the drama council before us didn’t. So it’s been going on for several years just on and off.”
With the big show approaching, some are getting excited, while some are more on edge.
“I’m going to sound like a rooster on a bumpy road,” Averill, who then proceeded to make a spot on rooster noise, said.
The talent show is Wednesday, January 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.
Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity to see how talented our students here at Madison are!
