Sense and Sensibility
The MHS Drama Department is getting ready to present their Spring play, Sense and Sensibility. Everyone always works hard to prepare the plays that MHS put on. Auditions will be February, 28 and the play will be performed April 19-21.
“I am excited to audition and have the experience because it is just so much fun to be in a play. The Drama Department is so much fun. It’s just a bunch of weirdos who like to act and have fun on stage,” Junior Eliza Hibbard said.
Sense and Sensibility is a play by Jane Austen, a writer from the Romantic Era.
“The play, Sense and Sensibility, has lots of sets so the tech will be really fun to do and the way that Jane Austen uses words is really fun,” Sophomore Colter Hinckley said.
Everyone should go and support all of the hard working students who will be in this upcoming play.
“I feel that the arts are very underappreciated. Especially at a big school like Madison where people always go watch sports. Sports are great but I think that the arts should be supported too because just as much work goes into it,” Senior Izabelle Bryant said.
