Is Christmas Music Finally Over?

Some people start listening to Christmas music months before the Christmas season even begins. There are even people that listen to the holiday music after Christmas is over. Some say it has effects on how they feel.

“It makes me happy,” Sophomore Dallas Scott said

Some people aren’t listening to Christmas music anymore but still miss it.They believe the music brings a sense of peace.

“I don’t mind that it’s not being played anymore but at the same time, it makes me sad. It brings in a sweet spirit but as far as it is over there are other forms of entertainment so it’s not that big of a deal,” Senior Allyn Forbush said.

Even though Christmas music is not being played on the radio anymore, that doesn’t stop people from enjoying it.

“It’s a weird sense of joy and sadness. I’m glad that Christmas donkey song isn’t being played twenty-four-seven. I sometimes listen to Mariah Carey now and then and of course the famous ‘All I Want For Christmas’,” Senior Eleanor Schmid said.
