The Student who Wore 15 Star Wars Shirts to School
With the new Star Wars movie premiering tonight, Senior Mason Cameron wore 15 Star Wars shirts to show how much he loves the movies. This is the last Star Wars movie he is going to see before he graduates.
“It’s the last movie I’m going to see before I leave Rexburg. I decided to do a Star Wars shirt per hour before Star Wars, and I have 15 Star Wars shirts on at the moment,” Senior Mason Cameron said.
Students around MHS were all wondering why he chose to wear so many shirts.
“I saw a lot of shirts in my closet, and thought it would be cool if I wore all of them, and there’s 15 hours before, between school and the movie and there’s 15 shirts that I have, so it kind of played out. And it’s on December 15th,” Cameron said.
Cameron is in choir and has to wear a tuxedo for his concert tonight. He still wanted to show his love for Star Wars somehow.
“Well for my concert I can’t really wear normal Star Wars shirts, so I have stormtrooper armor which I’m going to wear underneath my tux, so it will blend in with the white,” Cameron said.
After the concert he is heading over to the theater to watch the show, even though they are leaving early in the morning for a choir trip.
“I’m super excited. I feel I’m a little bit rebellious actually because Mr. Hinck told us not to go to the movie because we have a trip to Utah tomorrow morning, so we have the concert that ends around 10, and I’m going around 10:40, and Star Wars ends around 1:00 AM, and I have to leave at 5:00 AM,” Cameron said.
