Mr. Klassen’s first trimester as Vice Principal
As the new trimester has started the new vice principal, Mr. Klassen looks to better his role through hard work and positive relationships with students and their parents.
Principal Bennett sheds light on the new vice principal and tells how Mr. Klassen has done really well in all aspects of his job.
“I think he’s assimilated into his new role a little more quickly than normal, I attribute part of that to his hard work and he’s smart, but also him being here at the school I think that it might be easier for him to adjust to his role that way,” Principal Mr. Bennett said.
As the new vice principal has been put into his new position he has a lot of different opportunities to interact with students, teachers, and parents.
“He’s fun to talk to when you’re sitting in the office, he’s always willing to talk to you,” Senior Jessica Anderson said.
As the new vice principal, Mr. Klassen explains his new position and what he does on a daily basis.
“So a lot of the job is walk-in traffic, a lot of people come in here every single day that need to talk to you about different things,” Vice Principal Klassen said.
While walk-in traffic is a large part of the job Mr. Klassen is working on some new upcoming projects that the school is going to implement.
“I also have been working on a learning management system what that is, is like a college setup you would go online and turn your stuff in,” Mr. Klassen said, “Then we have also been working really hard on a thing called class choice where you can register all on your own to get your schedule. The other cool thing is that I get to learn from like Mr. Busby and Mr. Bennett they are two really good mentors that teach me a lot.”
