Basketball Begins at MHS
The basketball season started with a win from the boys basketball team at MHS, on November 29, 2017.
Student shares their opinion on how they think the boys team will do at the game.
“I think it might be hard at first because our team lost so many seniors. We have a lot of underclassmen and a new coach but, the boys are all very talented so through hard work I think they can do it,” Senior Makenzie Fuller said.
The team did well even though there were a few set backs. Overall they pulled through. Student explains what he thinks of the current team compared to last year.
“It was good. We didn’t do as good as last year,” Senior Charlie Taylor said.
The future of the boys basketball team is bright after the win. Captain of the team Jaden Schwab said he is excited for the next game and the remainder of the season.
“So it was kinda hard because we didn’t have that much experience, but as the game got going I felt like we played pretty good and we got it under control,” Junior Jaden Schwab said, “Since we are underclassmen and we don’t have that much experience I think as the year goes on and we gain that experience then we’ll just keep getting better.”
As the boys basketball team gets their first win beating Idaho Falls 70-51, they look to the rest of the season to improve on their skills.
